It is an honor to share the joy with clients who have benefited from Pilates exercises and are no longer experiencing pain or discomfort in their bodies. It is so encouraging to see my clients feeling stronger and more rejuvenated. I truly believe that Pilates is for everybody and every body. I hope to educate and empower my clients to find more freedom, control, balance, and joy in their movement practice.
Personally, I have been practicing Pilates since 2014; was an apprentice under Lori Thompson in 2017, completed a comprehensive 500-hour Pilates program through a National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) and became globally certified instructor in 2019.
I continued to work at Mindful Movement Pilates in Ocean Park till 2020 and greatly appreciate how much I have learned from not only Lori Thompson, but the other instructors and the graciousness of my wonderful students.
My background in fitness and gymnastics also has given me a solid foundation in the core principles of exercise and fluid movement. I was a gymnast for nearly 10 years, became a recreational gymnastics coach for about 8 years in Singapore. I am a certified gymnastics coach in BC, Singapore and the U.K.
